Google noticed that lead form submission or just leads coming from mobiles had a very low conversion rate. For this reason, they decided to make an extension called lead form extension where people can fill out the form directly from the ad.
To add a lead form extension, click on “More asset types” and select “+Lead Forms”.
View and accept the terms of service then start creating your lead form by supplying the necessary fields.
The background image can be anything that enhances your message. You can include your logo or the product that you are selling or if you're offering an e-book then you can upload it as a background image. Resolution: 1200 x 600 pixels
Creating the Submission Message
When they have filled out the lead form and clicked the submit button they’re gonna end up on the submission page.
Enter the headline, description, and specify the CTA which tells them what you actually want them to do.
Finally, add the call-to-action URL.
You also need to select a CTA for your ad.
Lead Delivery Option (OPTIONAL)
Use this if you want to collect this information elsewhere (e.g. using MailChimp or other applications).
Click “Save” when you’re done with the setup.
