The payment methods available for your account will depend on your country and currency. Without proper billing options, you can’t use all the benefits that Google Ads offers. In this guide, we will show you how to set them up.
1. Log in to your Google Ads account.
2. Click the tool icon, then click on the “Billing settings“.
3. Now you need to choose Payments Setup like Billing Country and Currency.
4. In the next step, you need to fill in additional information like payment method, automatic or manual payments, etc.
For the payment method, you’ll have the option to add a credit/debit card or to add your PayPal account
You can also choose to pay using automatic or manual payments, and here’s the difference between them:
Automatic payments - You pay for this service only after you have actual costs. You'll be charged automatically on the 1st of each month or any time your balance reaches an amount known as your payment threshold.
Manual payments - You pay for this service using your payments account balance. Each time a cost is incurred, the charge is deducted from this prepaid balance. If this payment account runs out of funds, your service stops. Adding funds will automatically restart your service.
Then agree to the Google Ads terms and conditions and submit your billing information.
After these steps, your account is ready to use.
