Before you begin the ad authorization process, make sure you do the following:
- Be the Page admin or advertiser on the Page from which you're running political ads. If you're not a Page admin or advertiser, you should ask an admin on the Page to add you or share this content with the Page admin and have them complete the ad authorization. A Page must have at least one admin with confirmed identity.
- Enable two-factor authentication.
- Choose one of the following options to confirm your ID:
- Government-issued ID
- Two official documents
- A notarized form that you download from www.facebook.com/id
- The submitted identification document must be issued by the country you want to target with political ads.
- Ensure all documentation lists the name of the country you’re getting authorized for. Documentation must be up to date and not expired.
