If you’re creating a campaign with ads about politics and social issues, you must select it as a Special Ad Category during campaign creation.

 

  1. Select an ad account and click Create to begin your campaign.
  2. Select an objective and then select Continue.
  3. Select Social Issues, Elections or Politics in the Special Ad Category section.
  • If you’re not authorized, you’ll be asked to confirm your identity.
  • If you haven’t linked an ad account and created a disclaimer, you’ll be asked to do so.

4.If you don't select the Special Ad Category and Facebook notices your campaign is about social issues and politics, the campaign will be rejected.
