Creating a Call-Only Ad within Facebook

Prerequisites or requirements: To launch any type of FB ad campaign, you will need to have an active ad account and Facebook page. If you are driving traffic to a landing page, you need to install the FB pixel on your site.

 
  1. Log in to your Facebook account and go to Business Settings. Click on Accounts, click on “Ad Accounts”.

 


 

  1. Select the right ad account and click on “Open in Ads Manager”.

 
  1. Click on “Create”.

 
  1. Select “Lead Generation”.

 
  1. Enter the name for your campaign, ad set, and ad then click on “Continue”.

 
  1. Turn on Campaign Budget Optimization and enter your daily budget.

 
  1. Click on the Ad Set and set the following:

 
  • Lead method: calls

  • Locations: People living in this location (and then select the country or region, you can specify the states as well)

  • Age: 55-65+ (*this is for Final Expense. The age target will vary depending on the vertical)

  • Gender: All genders

  • Languages: English

  • Placement: Automatic Placements

 
  1. Go to the actual ad. Upload an image and enter the Primary Text.

 
  1. To upload an image, click on the drop-down menu and select “Change media”.

 
  1. Click on “Upload” and select the image that you want to use.

 

 
  1. Once you’ve selected the image, click on “Continue”.

 

 
  1. After adding an image and your Primary Text, enter the Headline and Description as well as the Phone Number. Then, click on “Publish”.
